The 2022 Ford Escape comes in four trim levels: S, SE, SEL, and Titanium. Besides the base S model, all other trims are available as hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles. When coupled with an available trailer tow package, the 2.0-liter EcoBoost, standard on the Escape Titanium, allows the SUV to tow up to 3,500 pounds.

If you want power and efficiency, consider a hybrid Escape. The hybrid models come equipped with a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-cycle engine paired with a 96-kW electric motor. The hybrid powertrain generates 165 horsepower and 155 lb.-ft. of torque.

Performance
